Glassnode is a leading market intelligence platform for on-chain and derivatives data. We offer the most comprehensive library of advanced on-chain metrics and insights for Bitcoin, Ethereum and hundreds of other digital assets, bringing data intelligence to the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.

With an emphasis on user-centric interfaces, we aim to deliver intelligible, actionable, and unique insights from blockchain data and beyond, helping investors make educated decisions in an overly emotional and irrational market, and equipping blockchain teams with valuable insights on their projects and tokens.

Frontend Engineer - Portfolio (m/f/d). Remote.

About the role:

We are building a completely new product offering within our crypto analytics suite, focusing on users’ portfolios and DeFi. A true greenfield project with the opportunity to solve real-world problems within a challenging business.

As a Frontend Engineer within this project, you will spearhead the implementation of customer-facing features utilising our Backend built on top of on-chain infrastructure and data.

Join us remotely, you can be located anywhere around the CET time zone, as our work is 100% online. The position is full-time.

What you will be doing:

• Work greenfield and closely with our VP Engineering, product and design teams to define and implement our frontend applications roadmap

• Maintain, manage and update the frontend apps the team builds (”You build it, you run it”)

• You will be experimenting and integrating cutting-edge Web3 user experience patterns

• Together with the team, own the documentation and knowledge base of the project, such as manuals, design system, component libraries and any relevant playbook

• Have a direct influence on anything you build and ship daily

What you need:

• 6+ years of working experience in software development or engineering (programming, web or frontend development)

• Deep practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and React

• Understanding of DOM, CSSOM, DOM events, Critical Render Path (CRP), semantic versioning, package distribution, client and server-side rendering (CSR, SSR)

• Understanding of full-stack web concepts, such as transport layers, networking, caching, etc.

• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, Web3 and DeFi

• Experienced with different types of testing strategies for applications/components

• Comfortable with breaking down a large piece of work into smaller deliverables

• You are a self-learner, highly motivated and not afraid to pick up new technologies

• Nice-to-have: experience with micro-frontends, event-driven, and functional and reactive programming
