Senior Front End Engineer

CrazyGames.com, one of the world’s largest browser games platforms, is looking for a remote Senior NextJS / React Front-End Engineer. 
You will be working in a small fully remote engineering team, together with a designer, where you will bring our front-end experience to the next level.  CrazyGames is already used by more than 3 million users per day, providing us with a wide audience that gets to use your work every day.

Key outcomes for the role:

• Within 1 month, you have built components from scratch that are used by 40,000,000 users every month.

• Within 3 months, you have  improved our INP score by improving the performance of our key pages.

• Within 6 months, you take ownership over complex frontend features, managing them from scoping to execution and testing

• Within 12 months, you propose large architectural changes to the code base that facilitate future development and benefit performance.

On a typical day you might:

• Implement and finetune a new design of the carousels on our homepage

• Propose and discuss interactions on the website that can be improved together with the designer, data scientist and product manager

• Identify a heavy component, and refactor it into several lighter components

• Break down a front-end oriented epic into specific issues and discuss it with the tech lead

• You have multiple years of experience as a React developer. Bonus points if you have NextJS experience.

• You have experience optimizing a large React application for a broad audience with a wide range of devices.

• You can implement both a very concrete design as well as a high level wireframe.

• You can think from the perspective of the user.

• You have experience interpreting analytics data to drive design choices.

• You are intelligent, efficient, and organized. You have an attention to detail.

• You like open, efficient, and to-the-point communication and you have experience in working remotely.
