Senior Front End Web Developer

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Senior Front End Developer to join our creative team at MMGY, where we focus on crafting high-quality digital ad banners, campaign landing pages, and other innovative solutions for our clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career - contributing to hands-on development work while also mentoring other Front End Developers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Web Development within an interactive agency, design studio, or advertising agency.
• Previous experience using Amazon Web Services to host and deploy web applications.
• Experience working with responsive, dynamic web applications (preferably React or similar frameworks).
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS (including pre-processors like SCSS), and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience using JS animation frameworks such as GSAP.
• Experienced with Git version control.
• Experienced with front-end tooling such as Node.
• Experience using CMS tools such as WordPress.

Design and Accessibility:

• Knowledge of design platforms such as Figma and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG AA Guidelines and application of these principles.

Attention to detail:

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Front End Development:

• Build and maintain campaign landing pages, digital display ads, and microsites with a focus on performance and usability.
• Develop responsive layouts and reusable UI components, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with designers and other developers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Provide support and guidance to other Front End Developers, including code reviews and technical advice on projects.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:

• Participate in testing and QA processes to ensure accurate and smooth delivery of projects.
• Contribute to project documentation and help maintain internal resources.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work as part of a team alongside designers and account managers to meet client goals.
• Support the estimating and planning of new development projects.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute to new business development pitches and proposals.

Development and Innovation:

• Stay up to date with new front-end techniques and tools.
• Stay immersed in industry trends and innovation (design, technology, social, advertising).
• Support supplementary development-style projects such as web banners and email marketing campaigns.
