Configuration Specialist

This position involves back-end work focused on managing implementation and support activities related to configuring the Mercans global payroll software HR Blizz (HRB) according to client requirements. Key responsibilities Responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of HRB system configuration as per the client-specific configuration documents i.e. Wage Type Catalogue (WTC), Data Dictionary (DD,) and Blueprint Document (BPD). Analyze provided documentation for completeness and evident inaccuracy (duplications, contradicting inputs, etc.). Analyze the provided wage type information and configure it in HRB as per their type and taxation rules for a specific country. Develop formulas in HRB for calculated wage types or other configurations requiring calculations. Configure HRB parameters required for system setup as per the provided documentation. Identify and document system gaps based on client requirements, which could not be met with the use of available features in the system. Document all completed configurations. Complete and document Unit Testing for completed configuration. Identify trends or root-cause behaviors for frequently occurring audit issues or configuration errors due to a lack of understanding of formulas or incorrect formulas provided by the client. Qualification & Experience Bachelors degree in a related field. Minimum 3 years of payroll, HCM, and WFM implementation/configuration experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in HTML and XML. Deep knowledge of Excel, and MS SQL. Skills to develop complex formulas in Excel. SMART Performance Goals Ensure that at least 90% of configuration tickets handled in the period over the next 3 months are closed as per the configuration guidelines. Ensure that the ratio of accuracy of configuration is not below 90% (ratio of defects to total fields, pay elements configured). Make sure that there are no major escalations related to the tickets handled in the next 3 months. A bonus performance goal is achieved by proposing at least 1 process improvement or system automation idea to the line manager in the next 3 months.
