Senior/Lead Backend Engineer

As a Software Engineer on the Provisioning team, you will be working to ensure that the CI infrastructure is available, secure, and cost-effective, while ensuring a great experience for Tableau developers. Some of the things you will be doing include:

• Design, build and automate processes and systems.
• Breakdown and estimate work, select and incorporate the appropriate tools and frameworks for the job.
• Provide technical leadership at a component or service scope.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes & systems, identify optimization opportunities, design and implement changes for better efficiency.
• Lead platform upgrade projects.
• Take ownership of patching, upgrading, validating and releasing the AMIs supporting the CI systems across the supported platforms.
• Participate in on-call activities, identify and respond to issues affecting the service health, collaborate across teams to mitigate them.
• We have a strong mandate to operationalize AI solutions related to our scope - you are expected to help identify opportunities, prototype and roll-out one or multiple teams and use cases.
