What you will be doing

You will be responsible for driving new developments, maintaining various feeds as well as other supporting infrastructure.
Being good at time management and prioritizing various tasks will be key to success during exchange and client driven projects.
You will use your experience and knowledge of best practices to advance FactSet's Journey being one of the first financial company to offer real time market data in the cloud.
As part of a team that is always on the leading edge of transformation you will also be part of team's evolving cloud infrastructure and offerings.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2+ years of industry experience in software development/engineering.
Proficient in C++, Python and Bash.
Strong communicator – both verbal and written.
Being able to work with product managers and very effective at communicating with various stakeholders.
Hands on coding experience and being able to work in fast paced environment.

Preferred / Desired Skills

Financial market knowledge, especially market data on post trade/quotes side will be a huge advantage.
Knowledge of industry standard feed formats like FIX, FAST, SBE.
Messaging libraries like Zero-MQ or Tibco or Kafka.
Being able to work and develop on Linux/CentOS.
