Job Description

We are looking to hire a Senior React Developer to join our Global STORM technology team, focused on building our next generation of products that improves and automates trading activity on our Short term and Cash desks. This will include building out a new user interface to replace our current C# desktop UI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in front end development using React in a cloud environment and work in our Java-based/React technology stack.

Requirements

Proven track record of designing and implementing multi-tier, real-time applications using React.
Motivated to work with varying business partners including the front office to deliver products from start to finish.
Thrive in solving problems with code whilst holding a proactive and collaborative demeanor.
Responsible and proactive in driving and meeting business objectives.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in agile development environments.

Technical Requirements / Qualifications

BS/MS degree in a STEM / Computer Science related field.
Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end development best practices.
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
Awareness of the full development cycle, from analysis to first level production support.

Preferred Skills

AMPS messaging highly desirable.
Financial knowledge/industry experience an advantage.
Testing libraries including Cypress, Jest.
Can lead and mentor other members on the team.
