Role Description

Dropbox is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support the buildout and operations of our global network of data centers and Points of Presence (PoPs).

This hands-on role involves physical infrastructure work, including the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networking and server hardware (routers, switches, servers).

Responsibilities

Support datacenter operations and resolve abnormal conditions
Troubleshoot and repair servers
Install servers, racks, and network equipment
Assist with infrastructure deployment and rollout
Promote best practices for datacenter operations
Collaborate with SRE and Network Engineering to automate processes
Handle shipments and track server assets

Requirements

2+ years experience with large-scale datacenter hardware deployments
Intermediate knowledge of network topology (fiber and copper)
Hands-on experience with server and PC hardware
Intermediate Linux knowledge (DNS, git, basic scripting, regex)
Able to lift 9–23 kg daily
Strong verbal/written communication
Excellent time and project management skills

Compensation

France Pay Range:
€46,800—€63,400 EUR (Annual Salary)

Salary/OTE is part of Dropbox’s total rewards. Regular employees are eligible for bonuses or sales incentives (when applicable) and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
