YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

Participate in the entire production life cycle of backend and frontend applications for our messaging business (full-stack development)
Help the support teams diagnose and resolve technical queries from customers
Maintain solutions and resolve operational issues as they arise
Work closely with the rest of the team to implement features on our roadmap
Ensure the best performance, quality, cost efficiency possible of the applications
Share information with the rest of the team and provide solid technical documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
Knowledge and hands-on experience with a cloud provider like AWS or Google
Understanding of software and security best practices
BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent with programming experience in multiple languages
Experience monitoring and managing highly available applications
Experience building and maintaining APIs
Experience with PHP, Node.js, MongoDB
Database administration experience
Linux server administration experience
Based in the UK
