Candidate Requirements
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences focused on core runtime components of JBoss EAP for Web Services (SOAP) and RESTful APIs.
- Design and implement innovative features and enhancements for the WS/REST subsystems within the application server.
- Fine-tune and sustain existing code for optimal performance and stability.
- Ensure quality through rigorous testing and debugging, addressing complex issues related to WS/REST conformance, performance, and integration.
- Collaborate closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to align software with user expectations and industry standards.
Candidate Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Strong background in Java software development with expertise in Java EE/Jakarta EE specifications relevant to Web Services (JAX-WS) and RESTful APIs (JAX-RS).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex issues effectively.
- Experience with middleware platforms or application server development, particularly in core runtime components related to network protocols or API handling.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and tools.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a positive work environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of initiating and driving projects independently.
- Ability to guide teams towards strategic and functional goals of a wider product team.

- Experience contributing to open source projects, especially those related to Java EE/Jakarta EE, JBoss / WildFly projects, or Apache CXF.
- Knowledge of Web Services standards beyond JAX-WS and JAX-RS (e.g., WS-Security, WS-Addressing, SOAP).
