Who you are

We're looking for product-minded individuals who get excited about building a product that solves problems for users, not necessarily just about the technical side of things
You understand tradeoffs and how to balance building something right and getting it in the hands of customers
You're comfortable speaking to and helping resolve issues candidate, clients, and our team are facing - we're a small team so this is a shared responsibility
Most importantly, the idea of joining Movemeon at this stage makes you super excited - as the third member of a new engineering team you'll have a lot of scope to bring major impact on a new and developing product.
This role is not suitable for individuals who primarily have experience in contracting, outsourced development, or who have focused mainly on short-term client projects.

What you’ve done

Get in touch if you can cover a good chunk of the following

Extensive experience with our tech stack, React/Next.js & TailwindCSS on the frontend, plus NodeJS (Fastify/Express) and MongoDB on the backend
Experience with testing best practices, from unit to integration and beyond.
Some experience with our infrastructure on AWS, namely AWS SAM for serverless deployments, plus awareness of the tech and best practices surrounding VPCs, Lambdas, SQS, S3 and other AWS products.
Experience with user management tools, and identity providers, such as Auth0, Cognito, Clerk, or other providers
You have shaped products, not just code - we’re looking for collaborators, able to ask questions and mould a backlog for a cohesive end-product - not just run with tickets
You’ve worked on architecture and software systems built for scale, and have a solid understanding of the trade-offs when making technical decisions
You’ve mentored team members and worked with product leadership to shape a product backlog

What you’ll do

You will actively shape the platform's future for both candidates and clients, collaborating around problems and wanting to create actionable solutions.
As a Senior, you’ll have a strong voice in both product and engineering decisions, plus the ability to help mentor less experienced team members as the team grows, lending a hand and an ear to complete tickets and sprints.

Collaborate closely with the team to develop and refine the product vision
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs
Take ownership of features end to end, from concept through deployment and support
