Software Engineer – React Native

As a React Native Software Engineer working for our Sportsbook domain, you are able to take defined designs and turn them into secure, stable, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects.

You will be working on front-end applications for our Sportsbook application, building iOS and Android apps using React and React Native. You’ll play a pivotal part in making our platform highly usable and will write clear, scalable front-end code. You will work continuously to improve front-end design and processes to improve quality and efficiency.

• You estimate stories/tasks accurately and deliver them in time.
• In the event of a problem, you are able to troubleshoot, research the root cause of problems, and thoroughly resolve defects.
• You keep yourself up to date with market standards, open-source frameworks.
• Most importantly, you are humble, pragmatic, self-managed, thirsty for knowledge, never satisfied and always challenging the norm. Responsible for the state of the code you both inherit and produce.

What we’re looking for in our next teammate.

• Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of React Native with Typescript.
• Experience bridging iOS or Android native layers.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Track record in shipping high quality features and capabilities within a Hybrid (React Native application with Native components) mobile environment.
• Experience with CI/CD platform and pipelines.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience with testing concepts, test tools, and integrating testing and best practices into the SDLC.
• Demonstrated abilities driving operational excellence and best practices.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, drive and proactive attitude to driving change across codebase.
• Comfortable collaborating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Passionate about working within fast-paced environments and can adapt to change.
