Backend Developer – (MERN Stack)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Backend Developer (MERN Stack) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB to design efficient schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs (and GraphQL if applicable).
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services where required.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to align backend services with UI/UX requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs (GraphQL knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in database design and optimization with MongoDB.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
