Senior Java Developer - Low Latency

We are seeking experienced Low-Latency Java Engineers to join a high-performance FX eTrading team. In this role, you will focus on minimizing latency, identifying and eliminating sources of long-tail delays, and developing zero-garbage-collection (zero-GC) solutions.

Essential functions

• Develop and maintain low-latency Java applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce latency.
• Create zero-GC solutions and optimize existing code for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall performance and scalability of the trading platform.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using advanced metrics and profiling tools.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java development, particularly for low-latency/high-performance systems
• Experience with profiling tools such as Java Flight Recorder, VisualVM, JProfiler, or similar
• Understanding of performance bottlenecks, garbage collection, and optimization techniques
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical sympathy for hardware-aware programming
