A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, 3x12 schedule /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• 13-week contract assignment /n• Must float to other units as needed /n• Every other weekend and holiday requirement /n• No on-call responsibilities /n• Patient ratio averages 1:7 (not guaranteed) /n• 2+ years of cardiac telemetry and medical surgical experience required /n• Must have at least 2 previous travel assignments /n• EPIC EMR experience required /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only) /n• Virginia state license or compact license required /n• NIH stroke certification required /n• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy /n• Care for acute care patients on medical surgical and telemetry units /n• 5-day RTO pre-approved with requirement to make up time on back end /n• May request one holiday off but required to work other two holidays /n• No first-time travelers or block scheduling /n/n Facility: /n This 495-bed healthcare facility serves as a designated Level II Trauma Center and has earned an "A" grade in patient safety for nine consecutive years. The facility operates multiple medical surgical and cardiac telemetry units with at least 30 beds per unit, providing comprehensive acute care services.
