About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Developer Partnerships to lead and scale how we engage with game developers worldwide. This is a senior role that combines hands-on relationship-building with strategic leadership. You’ll define how Entity discovers, attracts, and partners with the most exciting game creators, and ensure our platform becomes the go-to destination for the next hit game developers.
You’ll shape our developer-facing brand, build trusted long-term partnerships, and lay the foundation for a thriving, ever-growing pipeline of high-quality games on Entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Developer Partnerships strategy. Create and run a scalable outreach program that continuously engages independent developers and studios.
- Lead developer engagement. Be the first point of contact and trusted partner for developers, building authentic, long-term relationships that support them from first conversation to launch and beyond.
- Build the ecosystem. Shape a sustainable growth strategy that ensures a constant pipeline of high-quality games being released on Entity.
- Champion developers internally. Bring back insights on developer needs, challenges, and opportunities to inform product and publishing strategy.
- Stay ahead of trends. Monitor gaming communities, platforms, and emerging talent to identify opportunities early.
- Operational excellence. Maintain up-to-date records of outreach, conversations, and partnerships, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.
- Commercial acumen. Partner with the CEO & COO in creating and executing new commercial partnerships with developers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with game developers in relationship-focused roles (e.g., developer relations, partnerships, business development, publishing).
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling developer-facing programs or ecosystems.
- Strong familiarity with modern social platforms and digital communities where developers gather.
- Deep knowledge of current gaming trends.
- Exceptional communication skills: approachable, authentic, and adaptable across diverse developer communities.
- Strategic and self-starter mindset, with proven ability to design, lead, and grow initiatives independently.
Nice to Have
- Active involvement in game development communities (as a developer, contributor, or organizer).
- Public speaking or thought leadership experience (conferences, panels, blogs, podcasts).
- Previous leadership experience managing developer relations or partnerships teams.
Remote Working Conditions
This is a remote-first position, allowing employees to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection, a suitable home-working setup and within +/- 3 hours GMT timezone. We place a strong emphasis on individual responsibility to manage time and work, enabling employees to accommodate their personal life requirements.
Travel will be required for team meetings, industry events, visits to game development studios etc. Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate meetings with international partners or developers in different time zones.
