🎯 The Role

Location: Remote (United States); Type: Full-time; Start Date: ASAP

We’re hiring a Consensus Engineer here in the US — a strategic builder and thinker who will help us design, launch, and scale our blockchain from zero. This is a rare opportunity to assist in working to architect a new blockchain platform. You’ll work cross-functionally with with our global teams including the executives, engineering, research, GTM, operations, marketing, and people teams between North America and Asia.

🛠️ What You'll Do...

• Heavily engineering and applying existing consensus protocols
• Collaborate with the global team build out next gen solutions
• Optimize and develop existing systems based on new research insights.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cryptography and blockchain technology.
• Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.

✅ You Should Have

• Preferably Ph.D. (will consider Bachelor’s based on experience) Degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Consensus Engineer with strong programming skills
• Preferably personal and professional understanding and/or experience with Consensus protocols
• Prior experience in development at the Consensus layer projects or open-source cryptography contributions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience launching or growing a blockchain projects from zero
• Written Content creation such as whitepapers, technical content, technical documentation, etc.
• Strategic mindset with willingness to roll up sleeves — sole contributor to start
• Bilingual: Mandarin/Chinese
