Global / Remote (1099 Contractor, Full-Time) UTAH

DMD Solutions is proud to be partnering with Foundations United in the search for an IT Administrator. Foundations United is building a connected ecosystem of DAOs and blockchain-native products that redefine how communities collaborate, govern, and create.

As the IT Administrator, you will be the primary point of contact for all systems access and IT support across the ecosystem. You will manage account provisioning, access permissions, security compliance, and troubleshooting across a global, async-first team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations, secure infrastructure, and reliable access for all team members and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for all systems access requests and IT-related issues across the organization.
• Manage user lifecycle: onboarding, role-based access control, and offboarding across multiple platforms (Discord, Outlook, Linear, GitHub, Notion, Slack, etc.).
• Administer SaaS platforms, productivity tools, and ecosystem infrastructure, ensuring uptime, license compliance, and security.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, security standards, and access management protocols.
• Monitor system usage and proactively address risks (data security, account misuse, phishing, etc.).
• Maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and support guides.
• Support cross-functional teams with technical troubleshooting and escalate to vendors or engineering as needed.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, software, and infrastructure improvements to support scaling operations.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT administration, systems administration, or IT management experience.
• Strong Experience with M365
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and role-based permissions.
• Experience managing SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Google Workspace/Outlook, GitHub, Linear, Slack, Notion, Zoom, Atlassian/Jira).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) and IT best practices.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, endpoint management, and cloud-based environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting remote-first, globally distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Web3/blockchain systems (wallet permissions, node access, token-gated environments).
• Experience with automation for user provisioning, system alerts, or reporting.
• Background in IT vendor management and license optimization.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, or CISSP (nice to have).
