JavaScript Engineer

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Engineer to support the development and delivery of automated process (AP) scripts in compliance with aerospace/defence engineering standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating Java-based AP scripts, updating associated TCSDB files, and delivering complete, validated outputs with supporting documentation where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AP scripts in Java in accordance with defined aerospace/defence standards.
• Update the provided TCSDB file with new names and arguments.
• Produce and deliver AP scripts that are fully functional, validated, and aligned with project requirements.
• Deliver updated TCSDB XML files with correct configuration and integration details.
• Provide a user guide for complex APs where required, ensuring clarity for operational teams.

• Strong experience in Java and JavaScript development.
• Familiarity with automated process scripting in aerospace/defence or complex engineering environments.
• Experience with XML file structures and editing.
• Ability to follow and apply defined engineering and documentation standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be able to meet the requirements for UK SC security clearance

• Experience with configuration management tools and PLM systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace/defence development processes.
• Knowledge of technical documentation standards and structured user guide creation.
• Exposure to automation frameworks and integration into engineering workflows.
