We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with deep expertise in OTC trading, digital assets, payments, and cross-border regulatory frameworks.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in structuring and negotiating institutional OTC agreements, advising on regulatory requirements for both trading and payment activities, and supporting international market entry, licensing, and product localization across multiple jurisdictions.

What will you do

• Structure, draft, and negotiate OTC trading agreements with institutional counterparties, brokers, and liquidity venues.
• Establish and support fiat settlement channels in emerging markets, ensuring compliance with local regulatory and banking requirements.
• Develop, review, and manage client and partner contracts to support both trading and payment activities.
• Provide legal support for new product launches and localization across different regulatory environments.
• Drive market entry and licensing initiatives, including exchange onboarding, payment licensing, and engagement with regulators.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance risks relating to OTC, payments, and digital asset services across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee AML-related legal services, ensuring policies, frameworks, and contracts meet applicable standards.
• Act as a trusted legal partner to internal teams, translating complex legal and regulatory concepts into practical business guidance.

What we expect

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience, including at least 3 years in OTC trading, payments, or digital asset markets.
• Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing OTC trading documentation, including bilateral terms, collateral arrangements, and institutional onboarding agreements.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border regulatory and licensing frameworks impacting both OTC trading and payment services.
• Experience supporting market entry, licensing, and regulatory engagement across multiple jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC frameworks and related regulatory obligations for crypto and payment products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage legal aspects of client and partner contracts, including dispute resolution and risk allocation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
