Junior-Mid Backend Engineer - Data, Platform & Infrastructure Engineering

We're seeking a Junior-Mid Backend Engineer to join our platform and infrastructure team, contributing to the data pipelines and systems that power our manufacturing automation platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, data integration, and backend systems, while learning from experienced engineers in a supportive, fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data integration pipelines and ETL processes in Python
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for deployments and configuration
• Work with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes to deploy and monitor applications
• Participate in database design, optimization, and data modeling tasks
• Write clean, testable code with attention to performance and reliability
• Deliver features end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy, monitor
• Collaborate with engineers to implement platform improvements
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• At least 1 year of commercial software development experience
• Some experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic development tools
• Interest in infrastructure, data systems, or backend engineering
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment

• Any exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation)
• Exposure to data processing, ETL pipelines, or working with databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or tools
• Basic understanding of networking, security, or systems concepts
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Any experience with Rust or other systems programming languages
