The Front-End Developer will play a key role in building and enhancing our web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience. The role requires strong expertise in Angular (including RxJS) and front-end best practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders to develop intuitive, efficient, and secure user interfaces for business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using Angular.
  • Ensure performance, security, and best practices in front-end architecture.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive and user-friendly designs.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and data models effectively.
  • Participate actively in Agile teams, contributing to the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of front-end code, ensuring easy maintenance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end code to enhance application performance.
  • Contribute to improving development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing strategies.
  • Uphold security best practices to protect systems, data, and people.
Front-End Development
  • Develop responsive, dynamic, and interactive UI components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Implement and maintain state management using RxJS.
  • Apply modern front-end architecture principles and best practices for performance optimization.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility in web applications.
  • Debug and resolve UI issues effectively, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Collaboration & Integration
  • Work with backend developers to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to define and implement new features.
  • Ensure data consistency and smooth interaction between the frontend and backend.
  • Provide technical insights and recommendations for improving user experiences.
Additional Skills (Beneficial, Not Essential)
  • Some experience with C# and Microsoft Dynamics for understanding backend interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Skills
  • Strong Angular expertise with solid commercial experience, including component-based architecture and reactive programming (RxJS, Signals).
  • Exposure to, or a keen interest in, modern Angular features (Signals, standalone components).
  • Solid understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Ability to dive into complex data / domain models and create abstractions
  • Experience in building web applications, preferably business applications.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, data models, and API integration.
  • Knowledge of state management and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience in unit testing, automated testing, and debugging front-end applications.
  • Understanding of security best practices in front-end development.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with UX designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
