Senior/Principal Kotlin Developer

Join the core engineering team on a multi-year strategic risk system replatforming programme for a leading global investment bank. You’ll be responsible for building key components within a highly scalable, risk-tolerant architecture that underpins critical business operations across the organization.

Essential functions

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the new risk platform using Kotlin.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate across teams to define architecture, improve performance, and ensure robustness.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Proven experience working with large-scale data systems in production.
• Solid grasp of software engineering best practices, including TDD and CI/CD.
• Background in high-availability or mission-critical systems is an advantage.

• Previous experience in the financial domain.
