CryptoCadet is a multi-chain cryptocurrency payment router designed to simplify digital transactions across networks. As our platform continues to expand, we are seeking a UI Tester Intern to support interface stability, usability, and consistency across devices and browsers.

Role Overview

The UI Tester Intern will evaluate the usability and functional accuracy of CryptoCadet’s interfaces. The position involves executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, documenting inconsistencies, and collaborating with design and development teams to improve the user experience. This role is suitable for individuals seeking hands-on experience in quality assurance within a rapidly evolving Web3 environment.

Core Responsibilities

User Interface Testing

• Execute manual and automated tests across desktop and mobile interfaces.
• Validate that UI components behave consistently across browsers, resolutions, and operating systems.
• Verify adherence to design specifications, accessibility standards, and interaction patterns.

Bug Identification & Reporting

• Detect, analyze, and document interface defects, usability issues, and edge-case failures.
• Capture steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and environment details using test management tools.
• Communicate findings clearly to development and design stakeholders.

Test Case Development & Execution

• Create test plans, structured test cases, and reproducible scenarios for new features and updates.
• Perform regression testing following bug fixes or UI modifications.
• Maintain organized test documentation for internal reference and future audits.

Performance & Responsiveness Analysis

• Evaluate UI responsiveness under variable network conditions or high-load scenarios.
• Assist in identifying bottlenecks that impact visual performance or input latency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work alongside engineers, product designers, and product managers to ensure UI quality.
• Participate in sprint planning or review sessions where test results influence release decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical & Testing Knowledge

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) is valuable.

Analytical Skills

• Strong attention to detail when identifying layout inconsistencies or unexpected behaviors.
• Ability to reason about user experience and assess a UI from a user-centric perspective.

Communication

• Clear written communication for bug reporting and documentation.
• Ability to discuss findings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tools & Experience (Preferred but Not Required)

• Experience with test case design, QA workflows, or software development practices.
• Knowledge of test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues, Linear).
• Exposure to browser developer tools for debugging layout or network behavior.
