Senior Python Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our engineering team and help build the next generation of cloud-native solutions for the aviation industry. You'll work on cutting-edge AI-powered systems that modernize airline operations, optimize efficiency, and improve passenger experiences globally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns and microservices design
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Proficiency with RESTful API design and development
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in the aviation, travel, or transportation industry
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, or higher)
• Contributions to open-source projects
