Trading Operations Specialist
Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. Trading Complaints Handling & Resolution
– Investigate and resolve client complaints related to execution issues, slippages, mispricing, or platform behavior
– Coordinate with IT, risk, and support teams in case of escalations involving incidents or outages.
– Apply compensation policies or adjustments when approved, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
2. Abuse Monitoring & Anti-Abuse Policy Enforcement
– Monitor system alerts for trading abuse or suspicious activity (e.g. latency arbitrage, bonus misuse).
– Review flagged activity against internal policies and document actions taken.
– Liaise with compliance and back-office teams where needed for edge cases in accordance to the policy.
3. Market Events & Corporate Actions
– Track and execute tasks related to corporate actions (splits, dividends, symbol changes).
– Execute instrument or trading conditions updates when approved by supervisor.
– Ensure pricing, execution, and margin settings remain consistent with trading policy during such events.
4. Configuration & System Updates
– Perform pre-defined configuration changes on instruments and accounts (e.g. leverage changes, enabling/disabling symbols, margin updates).
– Execute tasks as directed by the Trading Solutions Lead or internal tasking system.
– Follow strict documentation and procedures for every change.
Shift-Based Trading Operations Monitoring
– Provide operational support during assigned shifts, ensuring platform health, pricing accuracy, and client-facing stability.
– Handle urgent alerts or breakdowns and escalate according to defined procedures.
– Maintain handover reports and complete task checklists per shift.
Key Requirements
Must-Have
– Proven experience with MT5 Manager/Administrator in a live trading environment.
– Solid understanding of CFD brokerage operations across forex, indices, and crypto.
– Experience in client complaint resolution, IT trading support, or similar shift-based ops roles.
– Familiarity with slippage handling, margining logic, and trading dispute workflows.
– Strong communication and documentation discipline.
– Comfortable with shift-based work including weekends and holidays (on a rotating schedule).
Preferred
– Background in crypto trading platforms and perpetual futures trading.
– Experience with trading condition management tools, abuse detection systems, or monitoring platforms.
– Ability to work independently under pressure with high attention to detail.
