
React Front End Developer
Scope of Work
This procurement is to support the NHSN Support and Maintenance contract. Subcontractor will provide a front-end React developer resource to support system development efforts as directed by Leidos.
Key Task Areas
- Design develop, and unit test front-ends using React, KendoReact, Webpack in a Module Federation micro front-end architecture to run in an Azure cloud environment.
- Build modular, reusable React components and front-end libraries for long-term scalability and future use.
- Analyze existing code base and recommend and implement updates for design/coding best practices for performance, scalability, and accessability.
- Coordinate with back-end developers to integrate UIs with microservices.
- Perform 508 compliance development testing using Axe DevTools or other 508 compliance testing tools.
- Use Microsoft Copilot to assist with coding and unit testing to make development process more efficient.
- Continuously refactor and improve the code base for efficiency, maintainability, and clarity.
- Participate in code reviews to share knowledge with teammates and ensure consistency across code base.
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and use Azure Boards to manage work tasks. Demo developed code to stakeholders, including the customer, in sprint review demos.
