Senior Software Developer

Location: Remote (UK)

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to sprint activities including planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Work with the Software Development Manager to understand requirements and break them into technical tasks
• Support the architectural design of new features that integrate with existing services
• Take ownership of new workstreams from requirements through to delivery
• Mentor team members and pair program when needed
• Handle triage and support requests independently through to resolution
• Maintain high development standards by following established patterns and best practices
• Develop clean, responsive, accessible code aligned with usability principles and WCAG 2.0
• Optimise Continuous Integration pipelines with strong test coverage and automated deployments
• Stay current with emerging technologies, coding standards, and industry trends
• Contribute to code quality, documentation practices, and help maintain them across the team
