Senior Software Developer

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Software Developer to support a portfolio of high-profile technology projects in the UK. The position requires strong technical expertise in software design, development, and delivery, with a focus on building scalable and reliable solutions. Acting as the primary point of contact for all software development requirements, the role ensures clear communication and coordination across project teams. Please note applicants must be able to pass the HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Senior Software Developer will be accountable for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, ensuring they are delivered to the required level of quality, performance, and security, and in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards. Also, the Senior Software Developer will contribute to the development of existing and new applications to meet customer and business requirements.
