Software Development Engineer III

In this role, you will

• Own end 0to 0end delivery of complex features and services across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
• Demonstrate familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML 0enabled solutions that improve outcomes within services and platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience building and operating software services.
• Experience owning services in production environments, including monitoring, logging, incident investigation, and collaborating with others to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products as part of building or integrating services and features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and evolving distributed systems and service architectures that operate at scale, including thoughtful API contracts, data models, and integration patterns across multiple services or domains.
• Proven track record driving technical improvements such as performance tuning, resilience patterns, cost optimization, and security hardening based on metrics and data 0driven insights.
• Hands 0on experience with advanced observability, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to achieve high deployment frequency and low change failure rates for owned services.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership within a team or domain, including influencing design decisions, setting engineering standards, and guiding others in effective system and API design.
• Experience safely integrating and operating AI/ML 0enabled functionality in services or workflows (for example, personalization, recommendations, or intelligent automation), including understanding of model lifecycle considerations and monitoring AI behavior in production.
• Several years of professional experience designing, developing, and supporting production-grade backend or full 0stack services, including responsibility for one or more critical services within a product or domain.
• Experience in system design (including low 0level design), RESTful or RPC API design, and data modeling for relational or NoSQL datastores.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and related backend frameworks.
