Our mission is to prepare investors for the onchain economy by transforming how they understand and interact with crypto assets.

As part of this mission, we are building New Market Trading (NMT) a DeFi platform designed to automate and simplify yield generation through secure, permissioned smart wallets.

NMT allows users to delegate DeFi actions to approved operators via a Gnosis Safe-based architecture. Operators can execute strategies (e.g., Aave, Uniswap, Cow Protocol), but cannot withdraw funds. All permissions are enforced on-chain.

The platform operates across multiple EVM chains (Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism) and integrates multiple DeFi protocols.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Web3 Engineer (Full Stack) to own the frontend application and the data layer that powers it.

This is a hands-on role focused on building a high-performance interface that translates complex on-chain data into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

You will work closely with the backend team (Rust indexer) and the founding team to ship production-grade features used by real users.

Responsibilities

Frontend Engineering

Own and maintain the Next.js (App Router) + React + TypeScript codebase
Build scalable, high-performance UI for DeFi workflows and dashboards
Implement wallet integrations (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
Maintain strong standards for code quality, testing, and performance

DeFi & Data Integration

Translate on-chain data into user-facing dashboards (P&L, APY, positions)
Integrate with DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Aave, Yearn, etc.)
Work with RPC, event logs, subgraphs, and indexed data sources
Ensure numerical precision (token decimals, pricing, calculations)

Product Development

Build core features including portfolio tracking, yield opportunities, transactions, and delegation
Collaborate with leadership on product and UX decisions
Improve real-time data handling and application performance

Collaboration & Ownership

Work closely with backend engineers on API and data design
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Contribute to architecture decisions and scalability planning

Requirements

4+ years of experience building Web3 or crypto-native products
Experience shipping production applications used by real users
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js
Experience working with on-chain data (RPC, logs, subgraphs, multicall)
Understanding of wallets, transaction lifecycle, gas, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-4626)
Familiarity with DeFi primitives (liquidity pools, lending, yield strategies)
Ability to translate complex blockchain data into intuitive user experiences
