As a SDE II, you 2ll write software alongside a team of engineers on projects that matter to our customers and business travelers. This team values 3fail fast 4 learners and technology enthusiasts who find fun in learning. Your design and code will directly contribute to solving technical challenges at Amex GBT.

What You 2ll Do

• Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications
• Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
• Own delivery of application features end-to-end
• Innovate and implement new ideas to solve complex software problems
• Participate in code reviews
• Work closely with geographically distributed team members
• Mentor, support and develop junior engineers

What We 2re Looking For

• Bachelor 2s or master 2s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Core Skills and Knowledge Areas

• Front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Node, or React)
• Enterprise web applications (Java, Kotlin, or Spring)
• Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
• SDLC and agile methodologies, and agile tools and programming practices
• CI-CD principles and technologies

Beneficial If You Have

• AWS services (developing and deploying AWS cloud-based platforms)
• Insight about server-side design patterns
• Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners
