Our team is looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join the group developing Adobe's Administration Platform — a collaborative and multi-skilled engineering team located in Edinburgh, crafting scalable, high-impact systems that serve millions globally.

What you will do

  • Compose, build and maintain reliable, scalable UI components and front-end applications
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and help build technical direction
  • Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
  • Help identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues
  • Build tooling and automation to reduce operational burdens
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an encouraging team culture

What you need to succeed

  • 2–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience building and maintaining modern web applications using technologies such as Web Components, React, or Angular
  • Familiarity with web standards, front-end performance and web browser internals (reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, CSS/SCSS, etc.)
  • Understanding of front-end architecture patterns (MVC/Flux/Redux) and component-driven design
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies, including tools such as Argo CD
  • Experience working with monitoring platforms like New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • A collaborative approach and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity, a growth mindset, and a dedication to continuous learning
