As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building, scaling and maturing our technology platforms by using cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with Product teams, Clients and other internal stakeholders to design and develop platform features that enable the teams to deliver the core business. This is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Ownership: Lead the design of scalable, distributed systems and define the future of our cloud-native architectures.
- High-Performance Engineering: Build, review, and maintain mission-critical production systems primarily in Go.
- Ci/CD: Help evolve DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
- Operational Excellence: Set the standard for reliability, security, and observability; we don't just ship features, we ensure they perform at scale.
- Pragmatic Strategy: Manage technical debt and make high-stakes architectural trade-offs that align with business growth.
- Client Solution Design: Act as a bridge between the platform and the customer, designing Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and supporting complex integrations.
- Technical Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of excellence by leading by example through code reviews, design docs, and hands-on support for global teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex software systems at scale.
- Mastery of Go (Golang): You are an expert in writing idiomatic, concurrent, and performant Go code.
- Cloud-Native Proficiency: You consider Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) standard tools in a senior engineer's toolkit.
- AWS/GCP Expertise: Deep experience navigating managed services, networking, and cloud security within AWS or GCP.
- Distributed Systems Background: A strong grounding in microservices, asynchronous messaging, and data consistency.
- Obsessively Observant: Proven experience with CI/CD automation and observability stacks (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, or ELK).
- Client-Facing Presence: The ability to command a room (or a Zoom call) to explain complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation pipelines, and techniques for improving model quality and reliability.
