Staff Software Engineer, Foundations

📋 Description

• Lead migration from Mongo-centric to Postgres-backed platform with API compatibility.
• Design high-throughput data ingestion/processing pipelines for terabyte-scale data bursts.
• Architect for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent processing and backpressure.
• Drive technical solutions across teams depending on Foundations platform.
• Develop Query API with schema versioning, joins, exports, tenant isolation, and predictable load
• Build reliable data infrastructure for audits and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading major platform migrations with backward compatibility.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and data pipeline engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming/queuing tech; partitioning, consumer groups
• Extensive experience with Postgres and MongoDB; query planning, online schema changes.
• Understanding of eventual consistency, multi-tenancy, and reliability engineering.
• Solid AWS fundamentals; professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
