📋 Description

• Join Canva's Client Platform Mobile Platform team for iOS/Android performance and scale.
• Help shift from browser-focused to a hybrid stack using React Native and React DOM.
• Shape platform tooling, performance work, and React Native fluency across the team.
• Work with Rust and C++ for speed-critical parts like video, rendering, and streaming.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to drive cross-team influence and practical trade-offs.
• Hands-on coding and technical leadership in real-world projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with React Native at scale in a large company.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in React Native.
• Strong technical leadership with ability to discuss trade-offs and limitations.
• Experience influencing multiple teams via tooling, docs, or collaboration.
• Hands-on recent coding experience with evidence (commits, design docs, reviews).
• AI tooling experience in engineering workflows is a plus.
