Software Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We prefer a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• We want experience with at least one of the following: TypeScript/React, Python, or C/C++.
• We look for demonstrated ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate to solve challenging problems.
• We value genuine curiosity and a passion for learning new domains and technologies.
• We need strong communication skills, including the ability to explain thinking clearly and ask good questions.
• Desirable: interest in or exposure to video, media processing, or digital forensics.
• Desirable: experience with cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We develop features across our teams scope, including forensic playback, investigation tooling, media processing pipelines, and format analysis capabilities.
• We collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into clear requirements.
• We contribute to the quality and reliability of our systems through code reviews, test automation, and thoughtful engineering practices.
• We work across the stack, learning new technologies and building expertise in our domain.
• We participate in operational ownership of our services, including on-call support.
• We partner with engineers across London, Seattle, and Ho Chi Minh City to deliver capabilities used by public safety professionals globally.
