Senior Data Scientist

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a track record of delivering data science solutions in a commercial business
• We need experience productionising machine learning workflows, including deployment and monitoring strategies
• We are looking for a deep understanding of ML frameworks, algorithms and statistical methods
• We need expertise with Python and SQL
• We are looking for experience orchestrating data science projects in cross-functional teams and confidence leading other data scientists
• We value enthusiasm for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for Data Science and influence squad roadmaps
• We are looking for a passion for coaching Data Analysts and Data Scientists

Responsibilities:

• We will expect you to play a crucial role in driving our transformation into a data science-driven organisation
• You will be responsible for the direction of Data Science at Autotrader
• You will join a cross-functional collaborative squad focused around a set of products or services
• You will spot opportunities for Data Science and work with leadership in your squad to prioritise, resource and shape projects
• You will orchestrate data science projects and support other Data Analysts and Scientists
• You will collaborate with software engineers towards the best solution
• You will focus on developing ML-centric data products and solutions
• You will help establish our analytical standards and tools as part of our broader analytical community
• You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts through showcases, feedback sessions, mentorship programs and skill-based workshops
