Head of Data Center Design

📋 Description

• Own the design vision for large-scale AI data center facilities.
• Define Basis of Design covering POD, cooling, power, fire, networking.
• Set IT deployment standards: rack layouts, containerization, CDU.
• Lead design reviews across electrical, mechanical, structural, fire, networking.
• Drive targets for PUE, capacity, availability, redundancy, reliability.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and partners on specs and integration.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data center design or critical infra facilities.
• Ownership or contribution to Basis of Design docs for large facilities.
• At least 3 years in design/technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of power topology and cooling strategies; fire and structure awareness.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design reviews and approvals.
• Translate technical needs into clear standards and actions.
