Sitecore Lead / Architect
10+ years of combined experience showing the breadth of hands-on experience on both backend and frontend with Lead Agile development team in coaching, designing, building enterprise grade software systems on top of the Sitecore & .Net.
What will you do?
Implement and enforce engineering best practices using modern standards and patterns.
Review unit test plans, tests, and code coverage to ensure high quality delivery.
Implement engineering excellence by enforcing regular code reviews, continuous integration, high test code coverage, on-going code refactoring and adequate documentation
Architect and develop a scalable and maintainable application by creating self-contained, reusable, and testable Modules and Components.
Integrate with Azure Platform for storage, databases, and security
Provide thought leadership to the team around innovative approaches and workflows and technologies
Ranking Order:
.NET Framework - 8 years
Sitecore 9 and above – 2 Years
TDD with a Unit Testing Framework
Enterprise Integrations - 3 years
Git/VSTS - 4 years
Azure Platform Integrations - 2 year
Must Have
10+ years of experience designing and developing Sitecore based applications using C# and ASP.NET MVC (Model View Controller)
Certified in Sitecore Professional (8.2 or above) with experience of developing on the Sitecore platform (working knowledge of Sitecore 9.2 is required)
Thorough knowledge on setting up and production instance and ensure to protect against any security threats and vulnerabilities.
Hands-on experience in integrating various enterprise grade services such as IAAM, CDN (Content Delivery Network), Backend Services, etc with Sitecore.
Experience in setting up Sitecore instance in Azure.
Ability to conduct code reviews of internal team or vendors’ work
Experience building, inspecting, and managing deployments using Azure DevOps
Experience in working with Solr Search
Experience using Glass, Synthesis, or another ORM Mapper/Wrapper for Sitecore
Experience using Unicorn for tracking Sitecore item changes
Understanding the Azure DevOps process and being a go-getter to learn
Hands-on experience in Unit Testing with Mock frameworks
Should have:
Experience with managing team using GitFlow branching pattern
Experience in working in a continuous integration and deployment environment (Microsoft Azure, Continuous Deployment/Release, Unicorn)
Experience in building Mobile Applications
Conducted audits on the existing codebase and come up with recommendations for improvements.
Knowledge on any of the javascript frameworks – React Js is preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience in Sitecore JSS, Headless CMS, Sitecore MVC and or/Helix Architecture
