
Software Trainer - Law Enforcement Technology
Salary: £32,000 - 42,000 per year

- Previous experience in software or application training, technical training, teaching, professional education, policing, law enforcement, digital forensics, digital investigations, investigative or public-safety technology, customer onboarding, implementation, creating professional training materials, or presenting to managers or senior stakeholders would be particularly useful.
- Learn our specialist software and develop an expert understanding of its features and workflows.
- Deliver professional training to individual users, small groups and classroom-sized groups.
- Deliver training in person and remotely.
- Provide training at our office and onsite with customer organisations.
- Onboard new customers and help them become confident using our software.
- Deliver refresher and advanced training to existing users.
- Teach complete workflows rather than simply demonstrating individual features.
- Adapt training style to different levels of experience, technical knowledge and seniority.
- Explain complex technical concepts clearly and in plain English.
- Help users understand how our technology can make their work easier and more effective.
- Communicate wider benefits such as efficiency, consistency, capacity and cost savings to managers and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare and continually improve training materials, presentations and practical exercises.

We are Semantics 21, a leading UK technology company specialising in digital-forensics and investigative software used globally by law-enforcement, government and investigative organisations. We are continuing to expand our Stafford-based team and are looking for an exceptional Software Trainer to become an expert in our specialist investigative technology and teach customers how to get the very best from it. This is first and foremost a training position, with comprehensive product and workflow training provided. You will join a small, friendly and sociable team working closely with our development, product and support teams, with direct involvement from the CEO at times. We offer a salary of £32,000-£42,000 depending on experience, 28 days paid holiday including public and bank holidays, company pension, ongoing professional development, free onsite parking, UK and occasional international travel, and genuine input into how we train customers and develop our products. The role is full-time, based principally at our Stafford office, with normal hours of 10:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and occasional flexible working for international customers. Hiring is subject to satisfactory background and DBS checks, and applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
