Over the course of your internship, you’ll work hands-on within one or more engineering teams, contributing to real product features on a modern cloud-based tech stack. You’ll be supported by an experienced mentor and work alongside engineers who are passionate about innovation, collaboration, and impact. This is a chance to apply your technical skills to meaningful challenges, grow fast, and get a real taste of what a career in enterprise software engineering looks like.<br><br></p> <p><strong>The work you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with your engineering team on the design, development, and testing of features in Celonis’s cloud product.</li> <li>Write clean, well-structured code using our modern tech stack, which includes Angular, Spring Boot, C++17, and Kubernetes.</li> <li>Contribute to real product work — not toy projects — with ownership of specific features or components.</li> <li>Work closely with senior engineers and your mentor to grow your technical skills and broaden your understanding of large-scale software systems.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, standups, and team rituals to get a full picture of how high-performing engineering teams operate.</li> <li>Explore and contribute to open-source code and projects where applicable.</li> <li>Bring curiosity and fresh perspective to the table — your ideas are welcome here.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The qualifications you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li>At least one completed internship or relevant project experience demonstrating hands-on coding skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, C++).</li> <li>Familiarity with software development fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.</li> <li>Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and fluency in English.</li> <li>A collaborative, team-first mindset with the initiative to take ownership and follow through.</li> <li>You are available for a 3 month part-time internship starting&nbsp;<strong>October 2026 </strong>latest.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>GPA of 3.6 or higher.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-native or distributed systems.</li> <li>Familiarity with Angular, Spring Boot, or Kubernetes.</li> <li>Contributions to open-source projects.</li> <li>Interest in process mining, data analytics, or enterprise software.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p class="p1">The base pay range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule.</p> <p class="p1">Total compensation package will include base pay and sick time off.
