About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Demand Planner to join our global team. This role will be responsible for managing demand planning, optimizing purchase orders, mitigating inventory risk, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations across our international manufacturing locations in Asia, importing to the US.


What You'll Do

Demand Planning:

  • Monitor vs. actual demand and update forecasts weekly
  • Adjust plans for sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and new launches
  • Revise demand tool to reflect shifting demand patterns

Supply Planning:

  • Generate and track purchase orders
  • Expedite or de-expedite POs based on demand shifts
  • Maintain safety stock to balance service levels and inventory cost

Critical Decision-Making:

  • Use guidelines (minimize DPO, maximize cash flow, avoid stockouts) to drive supply/demand trade-offs
  • Run "what-if" scenarios and root-cause analyses for forecast variances
  • Improve supply chain processes and SOPs to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain analysis
  • Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques (time-series analysis, causal modeling, seasonality detection)
  • Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
  • Hands-on experience mapping, reviewing master and transactional data from ERP/legacy systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers
  • Experience working with global supply chains, particularly in manufacturing and logistics
  • APICS certifications (CSCP, CPIM) or equivalent preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

  • Availability to work 7 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time zone
  • Reliable internet access and a private remote workstation
