Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our core team and help build the infrastructure behind AI Live Chat. You’ll work on systems that power real-time interactions, intelligent agent behaviors, and seamless integrations across the web — all at scale.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves clean code, and wants to help shape the future of AI-powered customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build core systems using Python, Postgres, and AWS.

• Design and maintain APIs that support real-time video chat and AI agent behavior.

• Optimize performance and scalability, ensuring our AI avatars feel fast and natural.

• Harden security, especially in cloud environments, and proactively mitigate vulnerabilities.

• Write clean, testable code, and help maintain high engineering standards through code review and documentation.

• Solve hard problems, debug complex issues, and help evolve our system architecture as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong fluency in Python

• Deep knowledge of Postgres and SQL

• Production experience with AWS services

• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React)

• Strong grasp of RESTful API design

• Git proficiency and comfort with version control workflows

• A track record of writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience in agile teams and working asynchronously

• Bonus: leadership or mentoring experience
