Web Developer (HubSpot & Shopify Specialist)

We’re looking for a talented mid-weight web developer preferably with strong HubSpot (HubL) expertise, plus excellent JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills, to join our growing digital team. While you may also touch Shopify & WordPress projects, this role is primarily focused on HubSpot CMS and Shopify eCommerce builds & customisations.

You will be reporting to our Head of Web Solutions and will liaise between clients and internal teams to deliver best-in-class web solutions. You will help define project objectives, collaborate on client projects, and ensure that key deliverables are delivered to time, in budget and meeting our clients’ requirements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and enjoys solving technical challenges across multiple platforms.

This is a hybrid role that is predominantly remote but with regular visits to our Surrey office.

The role will be a great fit if you have

• Proven HubSpot development experience (Design Manager, HubL templates/modules, hs CLI).
• Solid Shopify experience (themes, Liquid, store customisation, performance optimisation).
• Strong JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, and CSS3 skills with responsive design know-how.
• Familiarity with WordPress theme/plugin development (nice to have).
• Experience with React (particularly for HubSpot custom cards) is a plus.
• Hands-on QA/testing skills and attention to detail.
• Good grasp of tracking/analytics setups (GTM/GA4).
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Agency background or experience juggling multiple projects.
• A “can do” attitude, are self-motivated & have the desire to achieve.
• Client-facing experience, able to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Broader CMS or eCommerce knowledge.
